Vermont Electric Cooperative, is seeking a Controller to join its Financial Management Team. As our Controller you will be responsible for controlling the financial services and activities of VEC. You lead and provide direction to safeguard VEC’s financial health in the areas of financial reporting, payroll, risk insurance, taxes, general accounting, forecasting, budgeting, rates, grant administration, inventory, fleet and purchasing functions.

Your ability to assess, educate, and employ protections and enhancements is vital in fostering a company-wide culture of financial health. You build capacity and empower staff to engage in strategic and tactical financial actions in order to position Vermont Electric Cooperative as a competitive provider of electric services and to achieve VEC financial goals and objectives.
